Creating a Public Service Announcement (PSA)

In this task I was assigned to create a digital story. Videos have a great impact on people. Remembering them is very is easy. However, some people found reading something is easier. I believe that the impact on the technological tools we use will affect the educational habits of students. Thus, it is crucial as a future teacher to adapt myself and being capable of creating multimedia. Moreover, without a well-structed knowledge of how to create this kind of assignments, we cannot assign and support our students for their productive skills.

I find these task very creative and it can affect my future student’s perspective because it is not only using the language but also integrating the technological tools directly. For instance, I learnt how to find proper videos free by considering copyright issues. My digital product is a PSA. As the first step, we decided our topic which is plastic pollution. Then, I used Pexels to find proper videos which aligns with my speech. We used

to unite the videos, texts and voice recordings. It was very effortless and the interface was very clear. In the future, I am hundred percent sure that I will assign my students with a similar task. This task requires great research which will be beneficial for their receptive skills meanwhile boosting their productive skills with a voice recording.

Moreover, it was a group work so it makes this task memorable and entreating in some cases. I really enjoyed the whole process and very excited for my future students products.
